I've recompiled gaim-2.0.0beta3 in order to support rendezvous (aka bonjour) and meanwhile (aka sametime) protocols.

Gaim-meanwhile used to be an extension to gaim and is now part of gaim's core. Bonjour/RendezVous was developped during he summer of code and is now part of gaim since version 2.0.0.

Well, since debuntu now has its own debs repository [2], the best way to install gaim 2.0.0beta3 with bonjour and meanwhile supports is to simply add the repository to your sources.list. Refer to the debs repository [3] in order to check how to achieve this and then apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade.
